Hola amigos!
First of all, thank you all for still reading my blog after almost 8 months. Can't believe I'm already almost 8 months in Beijing. Still looks like it was last month I came here and met so many interesting people, from all over the world. It such a shame that loads of people already left. With some of them I got really close and with others I didn't really care if they were here or not. Doesn't mean I didn't like them, it's just that their time here was too short to get close OR we weren't on the same golflength. Also, Jin and Kim left last Friday. The 12 days that they were here went so fast by! I'm pretty sure they had a good time here in Beijing. At least, that's what they told me, if not, you're a bunch of liars! :P Well, Wednesday we went back to Wangfujing, doing some souvenirs shopping. In the evening, we met up with loads of friends of mine and we went to to Juicy. Like I'd mentioned before, they couldn't leave Beijing without an experience in Juicy. Personally, I'm tired of Juicy, but in the beginning I had loads of fun. In that period, there were not too many foreigners, mostly Chinese people who where puking in the bathroom around midnight. Now, it's loaded with foreigners and I think, for me, Juicy isn't what it was. Lol, or maybe because of the fact that I don't drink anymore. Seeing all the drunk people makes me just ... yes, you can fill that in. But OK, that night was quite OK actually. Because I was doing loads of sightseeing, I was pretty tired and in combination with a little alcohol, it just made it worse. At some point, I was just sitting at the table, looked like my ass was glued to the chair and my legs lost feeling. So, there I sat... Around 3am I "woke" up and surprisingly I got back around 5.30am. Which it late for Juicy.
Thursday I slept the whole day, kind off recovery? I didn't wake up at all. Jin and Kim met up with their friend that also was in Beijing and they did some shopping and went to Wudaokou. I just spend the day and evening with my 2 malefriends - Ward and Romain -. We started the TVshow Games Of Thrones, so good! Friday we went to 798 Art District during the day and in the evening I planned a dinner for the 2 girls. Some close friends came by and we had a goodbye dinner for the girls. And before I realized, it was already 11pm. Time to fix a cab for them . Saturday was a hot day. I met up with Sam and we went to the park around 11am. 7hours later I came home, my back was all red and I was surprised of how tanned I got in only a couple of hours. One hour later, we had a Beerpong Tournament in a friend's apartement. Loads of peeps showed up, pretty crowded and also a lot of new students that I didn't know. Because I didn't go to class for almost 2 weeks. Around 1am I left them and went to my bed. Yes, still tired of the sightseeing. You know, every day I'd been busy, didn't eat and sleep that much like usual. Sunday I planned a day off studying. Hm, didn't really happen. I tried, but I failed. Later in the evening, Ward and Romain came by and we finished the first season of Games Of Thrones. Sooo good!
Today, Monday, I started class again. Nothing really changed, except that I have private class for speaking right now. Which is awesome and something that I really wanted for my last 2 months here in Beijing. I also started my 4th book, it will take like 2 months to finish it, which means I will be level 5 when I leave Beijing. Goal achieved! My writingclass is still with another girl, but that's fine for me. I guess next week we'll also start our 4th book for writing. Speed it up! Tonight we're having a goodbye dinner (Yes, again...) for my favorite Ecuadorian guy, Christopher Xavier Cabrera Soto. It kinda sucks that tons of people are leaving this week. But, I'll get over it. I'm also looking forward to 21st of June, it's still like 2 months, but I realize those 2 months will be over very quickly. Can't wait to see my little twin cousins, Alex and Joost, my parents, my family and friends.
Cool, time to log off. I'll keep you posted.
Kisses from Beijing!
