Hi you there, on the other side of the screen.

Nice to know that you're still a big fan of my blog here. I'm trying to keep it interesting. I guess if you're still reading, you find it interesting enough to follow it - wink. As I said before, from now on I will be writing my blog in English. Forgive me for using so easy words, I'm not really planning spending a lot of time googling for some more complicated English words to impress you. As I do remember, my last blog was like 10 days ago. Well, last weekend was interesting. OK, I realize I do use the word 'interesting' like a lot. Soit, last Friday we went to KTV with some close friends. Enfin, that was the plan. But we ended up with quite a big group. Which I didn't really mind, we had 2 rooms. If the one room was boring to me, I'd just switch and join the other group. I have to admit, the first time we went to KTV was so much more fun. The second time ended badly for me, people still keep reminding me of that. Thanks a lot! This time KTV lasted till 6am in the morning followed by a breakfast in Mcdo. I don't know if in Belgium they also serve breakfast? If not, make it happen ;) So, I ended up in my bed around 7.30am. When I came home, Belen and Chriiiiis, got ready for some hiking on the Great Wall. 8hours later I woke up and I decided to stay in that night - Saturday.

Spending the whole evening in front of the TV, watching The Mentalist felt pretty good. Around 1am in the morning I noticed it was snowing in Beijing! Quite surprising, because a couple days earlier I was walking outside with a blazer. Suddenly you needed an umbrella, boots, scarf, thick jacket. Well, as you can read,  here in Beijing is everything possible. The next day, Belen and me decided to buy some new glasses. Therefore we went to Jinsong. There's actually a big ass market where you can buy glasses. Yes, it's my second pair of glasses in one month. I've decided to buy new glasses every month. Because, 1) They're so cheap and 2) I look better with glasses - wink. The same evening we had a goodbye dinner of Anna. We went to her favourite restaurant somewhere in Dongzhimen Wai. We ended with a big group, as usual and I do have to say, pretty good damn food. I'm not really quickly impressed by Chinese food, but this was a goodie. Followed by some cockshots - not for me though - and spending some time at her apartement.

Tuesday my favorite girl here in Beijing wanted to get some drinks, because ... she also left this week. Cry me a river. Wednesday followed by a dinner in Lugas, a Mexican/Italian restaurant in Sanlitun. I had good food, good company, good music, good sprite - lol and a good mood. But, on the other hand, knowing that Belen would leave within 48 hours, was a freaking dirty feeling. Today was the day. She just left like an hour ago. Nasty feeling. Today - I haven't sleep yet - we had a last, final dinner with some close friends of her here in Dongzhimen. We went to a very good and interesting - lol, again - restaurant , just a couple of minutes walking from our place. Afterwards I invited a bunch of people to see her off. I also want to thank those friends! They stayed at our apartement till she left. They took her suitcases downstairs, putted in the back of the cab. Guys, therefore, thanks a lot. Staying awake till 4am in the morning, wishing her a good flight. You all know who you are. Now, one hour later, I felt like writing a new blog. Belen, if you're reading this: thank you for this adventure in Beijing. I could not wish for any better roommate. I will think you every step of the way. I wish you a lot of luck in the future. Take chances. Don't let anything hold you back. Know that the people here in Beijing are lucky to have met you.

Yes, as you can read, I feel a little bit sad because SHE left. But on the other hand, I'm counting off the days till my cousin and my friend are arriving here in Beijing. I'm really looking forward to their visit!
